DYSLEXIA FAQS

Dyslexia is not flipping letters or reversing orders of numbers. It is the most common reason bright children struggle with reading, writing, and even learning math facts.

Dyslexia can manifest in a variety of ways in children and adults:

  • Difficulty in learning

  • Difficulty in rhyming

  • Inability to associate letters to sounds

  • Inability to read one-syllable words

  • Reading errors that show no connection to letter sounds

  • Complaints about reading

  • Mispronunciation of words

  • Imprecise language and use of vague references


Dyslexia is also responsible for some of society's most creative inventors, business leaders and entrepreneurs because of their:​

  • Curiosity and great imagination

  • Exceptional spatial awareness

  • Unique ability to understand new concepts and ideas
